Love your neighbor
Love yourself
We should give some grace to ourselves
Love your enemies
Loving people where they are
Proverbs 12:15 says: The way of fools seems right to them but the wise listen to advice
If you already don't love yourself, then you probably your own worst critic already
Sometimes we don't know how to receive it
To receive correction, it's not a bad thing
There is a wisdom in Godly counsel
If there's something you can't do on your own, you reach out to someone for help and ask them for help
It may be wise advice
We are not meant to do this walk alone
The only person that we are responsible for at the end of our day, is ourselves and God, we are not responsible for any one else
And be a true reflection of Him
Be open to counsel
Love your neighbor as yourself, love yourself
Sticks and stones may break our bones but words will never hurt me, that's the biggest lie in the book
Words do hurt, words have the power to uplift and encourage someone in their day and words have the power to tear someone down and hurt them.
Your words are like a clinging cymbal if you're not responding in love
Don't say anything about someone else if you don't feel comfortable saying it if they were in the same room as you
Gossip is a very ugly thing
So if you think words will never hurt me, that's the biggest lie I've ever heard
Power of life and Death is in the tongue
You can know the Word upside down, and memorize, if you can do that, great
It doesn't matter how much Word you know, it matters how much you apply it
Humility is where the character of Christ comes in
They want God to be right, sometimes we hear God wrong, sometimes we think we hear God and we don't, sometimes we miss the mark
It's not necessarily about how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up
Matthew 11 verse 28-30 says: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
God works from the inside out
You come to Him as You are
He wants to recharge and refresh your spirit and your soul
It's not about perfection, and it never will be
Hebrews 10 verse 25 says: not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Before we can go out and preach the gospel, and do the bigger things, it starts in here
If there's something stopping you from being the best of your version of yourself, that God made you to be, Give it to Him
There's nothing we can do to separate us from His Love because His Love is unconditional
Don't take that unconditional Love for granted
If you want to leave a greater impact, keep working on yourself
Will you be that laborer with Him
Reflect on all those things
Find a way to work with the Lord, find a way to have Him show you how
